Don Miller is the Chairman & Founder of DM&A, Inc.,
the largest general food service consulting firm in
North America.
He is an industry pioneer in helping hospital food
service departments evolve from poor quality (40 years
ago) to models of excellence now. He was one of the
first healthcare professionals to bring culinary arts
into healthcare, and he was the first to make dramatic
improvements in patient tray appearance.
During the first 20 years of Don’s professional career
he served as a hospital food service director
specializing in doing hospital foodservice
“turnarounds”. The successful facilities were featured
in hundreds of trade magazines, newspapers, radio and
television.
His last turnaround in 1988 was so dramatic and happened
so quickly that CNN did a feature, two minute story,
which aired 3 times per day for 7 days (see news clip at
www.chefdon.com). This nationally televised story
enabled Don to launch his own business called Don Miller
& Associates, now DM&A, Inc.
DM&A is proud to bring together a team of high powered
industry icons including, Silver Plate winners, Ivy
Award winners, Authors, Ph.D.’s, Executive Chefs,
Registered Dietitians and other high profile industry
leaders to help foodservice directors and their teams
