Chef Paula has over 25 years experience in dining services, both in
hospitals and senior living centers.
She is one of a select few who is both a Certified Executive Chef and a
Registered Dietitian. She received her Executive Chef certification from
the American Culinary Federation in 1994. She graduated from the
University of Wyoming where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in
Dietetics. She then went on to become a Registered Dietitian after
completing her dietetic internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in
Connecticut.
Chef Paula is a founding member of the dietetic practice group, “Food &
Culinary Professionals” of the American Dietetic Association and has
spoken at their national conference.
She is past president of the Alterra Corporate Chapter of the American
Culinary Federation and was named the Alterra Chapter, Chef of the Year
in 2003.
Paula’s diverse background includes experience in upscale dining
services, menu-writing, recipe development and leading catering teams in
up-scale facilities.
Chef Paula brings her expertise and knowledge to DM&A to help our
clients go from “Good to Best”.
