John graduated from Boston College in 1977 and has been a Certified
Executive Chef since the early 1980’s. He has almost 40 years of
experience in the food service industry, starting as a utility worker in
1969.
John’s professional experience runs the gamut of foodservice. He has
held the Executive Chef position in several fine dining restaurants. He
has owned and operated his own successful catering services. He lectures
on various foodservice topics on a national level. And, he is an
Associate Professor, teaching Food Service Management at Laboure College
in Dorchester, MA.
John has directed all segments of healthcare food service, ranging from
large Continuing Care Retirement Communities to major teaching
hospitals. Since the early 1980’s he has been on the cutting edge of
Senior Fine Dining. He has successfully adopted the foodservice style of
fine hotels to the Senior Living industry.
Prior to joining DM&A, John served as a Food Service Director for
Caritas Christi Health Care System and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center
located in Boston, MA.
In 2007 John joined DM&A as an Executive Success Coach. John’s unique
range of experience positions him perfectly to head up the DM&A Senior
Dining Division.
