NUTRITION SERVICES GOES FROM 73% TO 93% IN 4 MONTHS

Congratulations to Nutrition Services, this week's recipient of the "Am I a Five for You?" shout out! This weekly feature recognizes those departments striving to provide exceptional customer service. Utilizing a performance improvement process called Destination 10, Nutrition Services has significantly increased their Press-Ganey scores. The department kicked off the process in May by changing the appearance of the cafeteria and patient tray presentation. Since then, the staff have implemented new cooking techniques and have begun taste-testing their food daily. According to Lolah Daniel, Director of Nutrition Services, the D10 process has instilled a new sense of pride in her team members, and it shows in the Press-Ganey scores. The department's score is currently at 93%, whereas it was 73% when D10 began in May.
